Photosensitivity notice. The burn-in fixer flashes high-contrast colors at a fast rate. Rapid flashing can trigger seizures, migraines, eye strain, or nausea — particularly in people with photosensitive epilepsy or a history of similar conditions. A confirmation prompt is shown before the tool starts; do not proceed if you, or anyone within line of sight of the screen, are at risk. If symptoms occur, stop the tool immediately and seek medical advice.
Limits of the screen-testing tools
The dead pixel test cycles solid colors so that defective pixels become visible against a uniform background. It can help you identify stuck or dead pixels, but it cannot guarantee that one will recover. The burn-in fixer flashes colors as an informal remedy for mild image retention. It is not a calibration tool, and it cannot reverse hardware-level burn-in on OLED or plasma panels with severe retention. If a screen has clearly visible damage, the right next step is the manufacturer's support process or a qualified technician.
General editorial disclaimer
Guides and explanatory text on the site describe industry practice and consumer-electronics consensus at the time of writing. Display technology evolves, and what is true for one panel type or model year may not apply to another. Where a recommendation is contested or sometimes ineffective, the guide says so. The site does not provide individualized advice: when in doubt about a specific screen, consult its manual or the manufacturer.
Third-party content
The ambient video directory links to videos on YouTube. Bart Television does not host the videos, does not control their availability, and does not warrant their content, audio, or licensing. Watch time, ad revenue, and creator credit go to the source channel. If a linked video later contains content you find unsuitable for your venue, please use a different entry and let us know.
External links
Outbound links to vendor opt-out pages, browser documentation, and creator channels are provided for convenience. The site has no control over external pages, their availability, their content, or their privacy practices. Following an outbound link is your decision.
No professional advice
Nothing on this site constitutes legal, medical, or other professional advice. If you require professional advice on photosensitivity, AV safety, employment-display obligations, or any other regulated area, consult an appropriately qualified professional.
No affiliation
Bart Television is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any television manufacturer, broadcaster, advertiser, or creator whose content may be linked from the directory.
